Dr. Christi Erba is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at East Tennessee State University. She is an alumna of the University of Rochester (Rochester, NY, USA) and the University of Delaware (Newark, DE, USA), where she studied Physics with a research concentration in Stellar Astrophysics.

Dr. Erba studies the winds and outflows of massive stars, and specializes in the detection and characterization of massive star magnetospheres at optical and UV wavelengths. She is the lead developer of the UV-ADM Project, a computationally efficient UV line profile synthesis code. She also is the chief project manager of the SpecPolFlow team, who are designing an updated Python software package for multiwavelength spectropolarimetric analyses. Dr. Erba also conducts interdisciplinary research in Cultural Astronomy, Physics & Astronomy education, and is an active McNair Internship mentor.
